Important information of Jýsan Bank operation during the SoE
Jýsan Bank ensures the uninterrupted operation of all its key services and remote service facilities (such as payroll accounting and crediting to the cards, performance of payment and transfer operations, mobile and Internet Banking systems).

All the payment card services are provided in full, for example, payments via POS-terminals, cash withdrawal from ATMs, internet payments, money transfers, and other services.
Grace Period
To help its clients whose financial standing has deteriorated due to the state of emergency declared in Kazakhstan, Jýsan Bank will grant a grace period on their loans. The compulsory condition for the grace period is that the loan should have been allocated before March 16, 2020.
What is the grace period?

It is important to understand that a grace period does not mean a loan remission, but gives an opportunity to stop making payments for a certain period of time, in this case, from March 16 to June 15, 2020.

According to the Client Support Program:

  • The principal debt and interests on the loan shall be paid in full, however, no fines or penalties will be accrued
  • Subsequent installments shall be made, subject to a loan term extension equal to the grace period or the same loan term, but with an adjusted and increased monthly installment
  • The borrower's credit score will not suffer, provided that payments are recommenced according to the new schedule
  • No grace period fees will be charged
  • Individuals
  • Legal entities
  1. No interests will be accrued on any loans during the state of emergency, if the delay in payment of the principal debt and interests exceeds 90 calendar days
  2. No penalties or fines will be accrued for the delay in payment of the principal debt and interests on the loans for the period from March 16 to June 15, 2020
Vulnerable social groups (VSG), targeted social assistance (TSA) recipients, and the registered unemployed

The automatic (subject to the borrower's consent) moratorium on payments of the principal debt and interests from March 16 to June 15, 2020:

  • Without any application or supporting documents required
  • Without execution of any amendments to the bank loan agreements
  • The Bank shall contact this group of its borrowers itself
  1. Pursuant to Article 68 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Housing Relations", vulnerable social groups shall include:
    • disabled persons and participants in the Great Patriotic War;
    • persons equated with disabled persons and participants in the Great Patriotic War;
    • disabled persons of groups 1 and 2;
    • families having or raising disabled children;
    • persons suffering from severe forms of certain chronic illnesses included in the list of diseases approved by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
    • old-age pensioners;
    • orphaned children and legally free children under twenty nine, who have lost their parents before they become of full age;
    • oralmans;
    • persons who have lost their homes due to environmental catastrophes, natural and man-made emergencies;
    • mothers with many children, who have been awarded "Altyn Alka," "Kumis Alka" honorary distinctions or the "Mother Heroine" title, as well as those awarded "Motherhood" orders of category I and II, and multi-member families;
    • families of persons killed/died while engaged in the performance of official or public duties, military service, when preparing for or during a space flight, when saving a human life, in the course of law enforcement;
    • single-parent families;
  2. Recipients of the state targeted social assistance in compliance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On State Targeted Social Assistance";
  3. The unemployed registered with the local population employment agency as required by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Employment of Population". зарегистрированные в местном органе по вопросам занятости населения в соответствии с Законом Республики Казахстан «О занятости населения».
Other clients
On a case-by-case basis, according to the borrower's application, the Bank may grant a grace period subject to the following terms and conditions:
  1. Until June 15, 2020
  2. The loan term shall be extended by up to 3 months
  3. The monthly will not be increased, except for the correction of the last three installments:
    • the interest amount for the grace period shall be reallocated to the last three installments
    • in case of a partial early repayment, the deferred interests shall be included in the early repayment amount
How should the application be submitted?

Your IIN, city where you receive services, and reason for the deterioration of your financial standing must be specified in the application

No applications without the major sections of the template will be accepted for consideration.

If it is impossible to use any remote communication channels, the application may be put into special boxes at the Bank's branches.

Private entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized businesses
  1. On a case-by-case basis, according to the borrower's application, the Bank may grant a moratorium on payments of the principal debt and interests for up to 90 days, subject to the subsequent corrections to the payments
  2. If a late payment occurs during the state of emergency, accrual of the penalties and fines for the delay in payment of the principal debt and interests will be suspended according to the borrower's application

  1. Commerce, including by Shopping Mall lessees, consumer goods shops, excluding grocery stores, drugstores and related supply channels
  2. Sports, tour and hotel businesses, including tour operators and travel agencies
  3. Passenger and cargo transportations, other than foodstuff and medicine transportation
  4. Catering, including restaurants and coffee bars
  5. Domestic services, leisure and recreation entities, including theaters, cinemas, photographing and camera shooting, exhibitions and conferences, parties organizing, beauty salons and fitness centers
How should the application be submitted?

BIN, city where you receive services, and reason for the deterioration of your financial standing must be specified in the application

Receiving the financial allowances
Clients of Jýsan Bank may receive the welfare benefit in the amount of 42,500 tenge payable under the state program aimed to compensate the income lost due to the quarantine.
Existing clients:
  • To any Jýsan Bank card (other than credit one)
  • To the current account
New clients:
  • Open an online account and a Jýsan Pay card
  • To a special welfare benefit card

Working Hours

Working hours of any banks are limited in Nur-Sultan and Almaty from March 30. This is in compliance with a joint resolution of the National Bank of Kazakhstan and Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market under the tightened quarantine regime.

Certain Jýsan Bank branches are open during business days from 09.00 a.m. to 05.00 p.m. and provide the full range of banking services. Please note that some branches located at shopping malls and in public offices have been closed or limited their working hours due to the current quarantine restrictions.

To conduct any requisite transactions, clients can at any time use their Jýsan mobile application, whereas legal entities can use the remote banking service system.
From April 28, some of the Jýsan Bank branches based in Nur-Sultan and Almaty recommenced the full-scale servicing of individuals. In addition, branches of the Capital City Subsidiary started providing services to legal entities.

The branches are open from 9:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m., with lunch time from 01:00 p.m. to 02:00 p.m., and provide the full range of services to individuals (save for lending) and legal entities.

Top up your payment card through a Jýsan Bank ATM with a cash-in option. Then initiate a money transfer to the repayment account using your Jýsan mobile application. The top up fees are 0 tenge
Payment cards delivery
The cards are delivered on weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m., within two days after the order.
