How to obtain /install a PIN-code on your payment card?

Upon receipt of your payment card, you should set up a PIN-code. You can set up the PIN-code in two ways:

  • through the Jýsan mobile application;
  • through the Bank's ATM on your own.

Setting up the PIN-code through the Bank's ATM

  1. from your mobile phone number registered with the Bank, send the following SMS at 7711: "epin ХХХХ" (where ХХХХ are the last 4 digits on your payment card);
  2. in response, you will receive an SMS with a temporary code from the Bank;
  3. then you should insert your card into a Jýsan Bank ATM and enter the received temporary code in the PIN-code field;
  4. from the ATM menu, choose "Set up/Change the PIN" and enter the PIN-code created by you to your payment card in the specified field twice (the ATM is to issue a message and receipt to confirm that the PIN-code has been changed successfully);
  5. once the permanent PIN-code is set up, your payment card is activated and ready for use.

Important! The temporary code is intended solely for setting up the PIN-code to your payment card through a Jýsan Bank ATM and is valid for 30 calendar days. The temporary code may not be used for any other transactions. If the PIN-code is set up using the Jýsan mobile application, it is not necessary to request for a temporary code.

What should I do, if I forgot the PIN-code?

If you forget the PIN-code to your payment card, you can set up a new PIN-code in either of the following ways:

• Using the Jýsan mobile application, if you have access to your My Account. For this, you are required to: 

  1. log in through the Jýsan mobile application (access your My Account) and go to the "My Bank" Section;
  2. choose the required card and tap it to go to the "Card Details" Section;
  3. select the "Change the PIN-code" line;
  4. enter the new PIN-code twice in the popped up box.

• Changing a PIN-code through the Bank's ATM on your own. For this, you are required to:

  1. contact the Bank's Call Center and delete your old PIN-code;
  2. from your mobile phone number registered with the Bank, send the following SMS at 7711: "epin ХХХХ" (where ХХХХ are the last 4 digits on your payment card);
  3. in response, you will receive an SMS with a temporary code from the Bank;
  4. then you should insert your card into a Jýsan Bank ATM and enter the received temporary code in the PIN-code field;
  5. from the ATM menu, choose "Set up/Change the PIN" and enter the PIN-code created by you to your payment card in the specified field twice (the ATM is to issue a message and receipt to confirm that the PIN-code has been changed successfully);
  6. once the permanent PIN-code is set up, your payment card is activated and ready for use.

What is the fee for cash withdrawal /encashment through ATMs using a Jýsan Pay card?

Cash withdrawal from the Jýsan Pay card:

• From Jýsan Bank's ATMs - no fees

• Up to 500,000 Tenge, inclusively, from other banks' ATMs based in Kazakhstan - no fees; if the amount exceeds 500,000 Tenge - 0.6% of the amount 

• Without subscription to the TRAVEL Package, from the banks' ATMs located outside Kazakhstan - 0.5% + 1,000 Tenge

• If subscribed to the TRAVEL Package, up to 4,000,000 Tenge, inclusively, withdrawn per month from the banks' ATMs located outside Kazakhstan - 0 Tenge;

if the amount withdrawn during a month exceeds 4,000,000 Tenge - 1% + 1,000 Tenge

How to be registered in the Jýsan mobile application?

To be registered in the Jýsan mobile application, you are required to:

- Go to the "My Bank" Section and press the "Log In" Button;

- Press "Register" Button in the popped-up window; 

- Enter your current mobile phone number and IIN; 

- Pass the biometric verification/ identification;

- Confirm the log-in with an SMS code received to the specified mobile phone number;

- Invent a password access the Jýsan mobile application.

What are the advantages of the Jýsan Pay card?

The advantages of the Jýsan Pay card: 

• An opportunity to open up to 21 foreign currency accounts per card and to manage them through the Jýsan mobile application 

• Free issue and free servicing of the card during the first two years

2. The CYBER package is for gamers - on STEAM, you will receive up to 15% Bonuses!

Are there any restrictions to cash withdrawals from a payment card using the Bank's ATM?

The cash withdrawal limit for the cards is up to 2,000,000 Tenge/month. The limit may be changed from the Jýsan mobile application or if the payment card holder contacts the Bank's Call Center at 7711 (toll free from mobile phones).

What should I do, if no SMS with the temporary code is received?

If you receive no SMS with the temporary code, please check if you have entered properly the text "epin ХХХХ" (where ХХХХ are the last 4 digits on your payment card) in the SMS sent at 7711. If the text has been entered properly, please contact the Bank's Call Center at 7711 (toll free from mobile phones).

In what cities is delivery of a payment card available?

The cards can be delivered by a courier in the following cities: Almaty, Nur-Sultan, Shymkent, Aktobe, Kokshetau, Temirtau, Karagandy, Petropavlovsk, Uralsk, Aktau, Kostanai, Semey, Atyrau, Stepnogorsk, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Pavlodar, Taraz, Kyzylorda and Taldykorgan.

How to open a child's multicurrency card?

A child's multicurrency card may be opened for children aged 5 to 16 years, whether residents or nonresidents of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

For residents' children, a child's multicurrency card of the preferred design can be ordered through the Jýsan mobile application, courier delivery to their home or office included, or the card can be instantly received at any branch of the Bank.

For children of nonresidents, a child multicurrency card can be opened at any Bank branch at your convenience. Please carry a document containing your IIN, foreign passport, registration certificate, a document issued by a Public Service Center to certify your temporary or permanent residence registration.

 To order a child's multicurrency card, the mandatory requirement is that his/her parent shall hold a multicurrency card. The parent can also order a multicurrency card using the Jýsan mobile application, a courier delivery to the home or office included, or at any Jýsan Bank branch at his/her convenience.
