How to open a World Elite card?

A premium MasterCard World Elite payment card may be opened by resident and nonresident individuals aged at least 18 years as of the date of execution of the agreement. 

If you are a resident of the RoK, you may open a World Elite card at any branch of our Bank upon production of the original of your personal identification document (ID/ foreign passport).

 If you are a nonresident, you may open a World Elite card at any branch of the Bank upon production of the following documents: a document containing your IIN, foreign passport, registration certificate, a document issued by a Public Service Center to certify your temporary or permanent residence registration.

What are the advantages of the World Elite card?

The advantages of the MasterCard World Elite card: 

• An opportunity to open up to 21 foreign currency accounts per card and to manage them through the Jýsan mobile application 

• MasterCard Concierge services

• A high premium status of the card

 • Lounge Key service - 2 accesses to business lounges per year throughout the world for free 

• MasterCard business lounges 

• Travel insurance for up to €7.5 million 

• Validity of the card is 5 years 

• No fees for SMS notifications during the first year

 • No fees for cash withdrawals from Jýsan Bank's ATMs 

 • No fees for up to 500,000 Tenge, inclusively, withdrawn using ATMs located in Kazakhstan

• Up to 2% guaranteed Bonuses to be accrued to you for each cashless purchase - you can use such Bonuses at the JMART marketplace and to make payments through the Jýsan mobile application.

 • Up to 10% Bonuses for the purchase of a Jýsan Garant insurance product through the Jýsan mobile application.

 • Together with the card, the following packages are available to you, depending on your interests:

Are any Bonuses available on the MasterCard World Elite card?

The following Bonuses are available on the MasterCard World Elite card:

 • Up to 2% guaranteed Bonuses per cashless purchase

• Up to 10% Bonuses for the purchase of a Jýsan Garant insurance product through the Jýsan mobile application

 • The card also makes the following packages available to you, depending on your interests:

The list of transactions, for which no Bonuses will be accrued.

You can use the Bonuses at the JMART marketplace and to make payments through the Jýsan mobile application. You can view the Bonuses accrued to you at the Single Bonus Account of the "My Bank" Section in the Jýsan mobile application. The maximum Bonus amount payable is 35,000 Tenge per month (per payment card holder, regardless of the number of payment cards held by the client). The maximum Bonus amount accruable per transaction shall be up to 10,000 Bonuses.

How to top up a MasterCard World Elite card?

The MasterCard World Elite card can be topped up in several ways: 

• At a Jýsan Bank branch 

• Through a cash-in ATM of Jýsan Bank 

• Through the Kassa 24 and QIWI terminals - no fees

• By means of a money transfer to the card or account.

What is the fee for cash withdrawal through ATMs using a MasterCard World Elite card?

Cash withdrawal from the MasterCard World Elite card:

• From Jýsan Bank's ATMs - no fees

• Up to 500,000 Tenge, inclusively, from other banks' ATMs based in Kazakhstan - no fees; if the amount exceeds 500,000 Tenge - 0.6% of the amount 

• Without subscription to the TRAVEL Package, from the banks' ATMs located outside Kazakhstan - 0.5% + 1,000 Tenge

• If subscribed to the TRAVEL Package, up to 4,000,000 Tenge, inclusively, withdrawn per month from the banks' ATMs located outside Kazakhstan - 0 Tenge;

if the amount withdrawn during a month exceeds 4,000,000 Tenge - 1% + 1,000 Tenge

What is the fee for money transfers using a MasterCard World Elite card?

Transfer transactions from the MasterCard World Elite card:

1. to another payment card/account opened with the Bank – no fees

2. to a payment card of another bank in Kazakhstan - 200 Tenge (the maximum transaction amount is 400,000 Tenge)

An ATM does not issue any banknotes, but the relevant amount has been debited from my MasterCard World Elite card. What should I do?

In case of a questionable/ disputable situation related to a card used in an ATM, you are required to contact a Jýsan Bank branch, which has issued the card, in order to submit an application stating the address and name of the bank the ATM belongs to. Your application shall be considered within up to 30 (thirty) calendar days after the date of submission thereof to
the Bank, or within up to 45 (forty five) calendar days after receipt of such application, if the payment
card has been used outside Kazakhstan. The period of consideration and preparation of a response to the client's application shall be in compliance with the deadlines set forth by
the laws of the RoK and the regulations of the payment systems (Visa/ Mastercard).

I have lost my MasterCard World Elite card. How can I withdraw my money?

If you lost your  MasterCard World Elite card, the first thing you should do is freeze the card:

• Through the Jýsan mobile application 

• By contacting the Bank's Call Center at 7711 (toll free from mobile phones) or +7 7172 587 711 (if you are outside Kazakhstan), 

 and then visit the closest branch of the Bank to withdraw the money and to have your card reissued.

How can I freeze or unfreeze my MasterCard World Elite card?

The MasterCard World Elite card may be frozen permanently (if it is lost or stolen) or temporarily at any time:

• Using the Jýsan mobile application

• By contacting the Bank's Call Center at 7711 (toll free from mobile phones) or +7 7172 587 711 (if you are outside Kazakhstan)

You can unfreeze your temporarily frozen card by yourself using the Jýsan mobile application or at a branch of the Bank. 

If a card is completely frozen (because it has been lost, stolen or due to a fraud), such card may not be unfrozen. It is to be reissued at a branch of the Bank.

What is СVV/CVC of the World Elite card? What is it required for?

The CVV/CVC code is a three-digit code to validate the payment card; it is located on the rear side of the card, next to the signature box. The CVV/CVC code is used in the course of online purchases and shall be deemed confidential; hence, the Bank strongly recommends not to disclose your CVV/CVC code to any third parties, even if they pretend to be employees of the Bank.

You can obtain the statement in two ways:

• You can download the statement through the Jýsan mobile application by selecting the "Download as PDF" option

An ATM has swallowed my World Elite card. What should I do?

If an ATM has swallowed a card, then, first of all, the card must be frozen using the Jýsan mobile application or by contacting the Jýsan Bank Call Center at 7711 (toll free from mobile phones). Then it is necessary to contact the closest Jýsan Bank branch to file a request for removal of the card or reissue of a new card.

What is the MasterCard Concierge on the MasterCard World Elite card? How to use this service?

The MasterCard Concierge service available on the World Elite card will ensure, upon the client's request, booking, reservation, will place an order or arrange a delivery in collaboration with a Service Provider and using the Holder's card registered in the Concierge Service app for payment purposes, subject to the card Holder's approval. Telephone number for the holders in the Republic of Kazakhstan: +7 (727) 3567727, email address for the clients: jysanbank@concierge-mc.com.

During their first contact with the MasterCard Concierge Service, the card holders will have to submit their registration data, including, but not limited to, their personal information (name, preferred title, contact details, including phone number(s), email address) and their MasterCard card details, for the purposes of a subsequent verification.
