How to open a social card?

If an individual is a resident of the Republic of Kazakhstan and is at least 18 years old, he/she can order a social card to receive allowances, alimony payments and pensions, through the Jýsan mobile application, courier delivery to his/her home or office included, or at any Bank branch at his/her convenience by producing the original of his/her personal identification document.

What are the advantages of the social card?

The advantages of the social card: 

• Free issue and free servicing of the card during the first two years! 

• No charges for SMS notifications during the first year

• No fees for cash withdrawals through the Jýsan Bank ATMs, no fees for up to 500,000 Tenge withdrawn per month using other ATMs in the country 

• Up to 2% guaranteed Bonuses to be accrued to you for each cashless purchase - you can use such Bonuses at the JMART marketplace and to make payments through the Jýsan mobile application

• Up to 10% Bonuses for the purchase of a Jýsan Garant insurance product through the Jýsan mobile application

 • The card also makes the following packages available to you, depending on your interests: 

1. The TRAVEL package is for travel enthusiasts and it will allow you to receive up to 10% Bonuses if you make a purchase via the "Travel" Section using the Jýsan mobile application and to withdraw up to 4,000,000 Tenge without any fee from ATMs located outside Kazakhstan! 

2. The CYBER package is for gamers - on STEAM, you will receive up to 15% Bonuses!

Are any Bonuses available on the social card?

The following Bonuses are available on the social card:

 • Up to 2% guaranteed Bonuses per cashless purchase

• Up to 10% Bonuses for the purchase of a Jýsan Garant insurance product through the Jýsan mobile application

 • The card also makes the following packages available to you, depending on your interests: 

1. The TRAVEL package is for travel enthusiasts and it will allow you to receive up to 10% Bonuses if you make a purchase via the "Travel" Section using the Jýsan mobile application and to withdraw up to 4,000,000 Tenge without any fee from ATMs located outside Kazakhstan!

The list of transactions, for which no Bonuses will be accrued.

You can use the Bonuses at the JMART marketplace and to make payments through the Jýsan mobile application. You can view the Bonuses accrued to you at the Single Bonus Account of the "My Bank" Section in the Jýsan mobile application. The maximum Bonus amount payable is 35,000 Tenge per month (per payment card holder, regardless of the number of payment cards held by the client). The maximum Bonus amount accruable per transaction shall be up to 10,000 Bonuses.

How to top up the social card?

• No topping up is allowed other than welfare benefits and allowances, if a social card is issued for receipt of allowances.

• No topping up is allowed other than alimonies, if a social card is issued for receipt of alimony payments.

• Balance refills of any kind are allowed to a social card issued for receipt of pensions.

What is the fee for cash withdrawals from a social card using an ATM?

Withdrawing cash from a social card:

• From Jýsan Bank's ATMs - no fees 

• Up to 500,000 Tenge, inclusively, from other banks' ATMs based in Kazakhstan - no fees; if the amount exceeds 500,000 Tenge - 0.6% of the amount 

• Without subscription to the TRAVEL Package, from the banks' ATMs located outside Kazakhstan - 0.5% + 1,000 Tenge 

• If subscribed to the TRAVEL Package, up to 4,000,000 Tenge, inclusively, withdrawn per month from the banks' ATMs located outside Kazakhstan - 0 Tenge; if the amount withdrawn during a month exceeds 4,000,000 Tenge - 1% + 1,000 Tenge

What is the fee for money transfers using a social card?

The fee for transfer transactions from the social card is as follows:

1. to another payment card/account opened with the Bank – no fees

2. to a payment card of another bank in Kazakhstan - 200 Tenge (the maximum transaction amount is 400,000 Tenge)

An ATM does not issue any banknotes, but the relevant amount has been written off from the card. What should I do?

In case of a questionable/ disputable situation related to a card used in an ATM, you are required to contact a Jýsan Bank branch, which has issued the card, in order to submit an application stating the address and name of the bank the ATM belongs to. Your application shall be considered within up to 30 (thirty) calendar days after the date of submission thereof to
the Bank, or within up to 45 (forty five) calendar days after receipt of such application, if the payment
card has been used outside Kazakhstan. The period of consideration and preparation of a response to the client's application shall be in compliance with the deadlines set forth by
the laws of the RoK and the regulations of the payment systems (Visa/ Mastercard).

What kinds of seizure can be levied over a social card?

• No seizures can be levied over a social card issued for receipt of allowances.

• Seizures can be levied over a social card intended for receipt of alimonies, except for payment demands issued by second-tier banks.

• Seizure of any kind can be levied over a social card issued for receipt of pensions.

I have lost my social card. How can I withdraw my money?

If you lost your social card, you should freeze it:

• Through the Jýsan mobile application 

• By contacting the Bank's Call Center at 7711 (toll free from mobile phones) or +7 7172 587 711 (if you are outside Kazakhstan), 

 and then visit the closest branch of the Bank to withdraw the money and to have your card reissued.

How can I freeze or unfreeze my social card?

A social card can be permanently (if it is lost or stolen) or temporarily frozen at any time:

  • Using the Jýsan mobile application
  • By contacting the Bank's Call Center at 7711 (toll free from mobile phones) or +7 7172 587 711 (if you are outside Kazakhstan)

You can unfreeze your temporarily frozen card by yourself using the Jýsan mobile application or at a branch of the Bank. 

If a card is completely frozen (because it has been lost, stolen or due to a fraud), such card may not be unfrozen. It is to be reissued at a branch of the Bank.

What is СVV/CVC of the social card? What is it required for?

The CVV/CVC code of a social card is a three-digit code to validate the payment card; it is located on the rear side of the card, next to the signature box. The CVV/CVC code is used in the course of online purchases and shall be deemed confidential; hence, the Bank strongly recommends not to disclose your CVV/CVC code to any third parties, even if they pretend to be employees of the Bank.

You can obtain the statement in two ways:

• You can download the statement through the Jýsan mobile application by selecting the "Download as PDF" option

• At the closest branch of Jýsan Bank

An ATM has held my social card. What should I do?

If an ATM has swallowed your card, then, first of all, the card must be frozen using the mobile application or by contacting the Jýsan Bank Call Center at 7711 (toll free from mobile phones). Then it is necessary to contact the closest Jýsan Bank branch to file a request for removal of the card or reissue of a new card.

How to close a social card?

The social card can be closed at any branch of Jýsan Bank. Please carry the origin of your personal identification document. The addresses and working hours of the Jýsan Bank branches are available from the Jýsan mobile application and on the official website
