February 9, 2021, Almaty. – Jýsan Bank has launched the JPAY mobile application to accept contactless payments using a smartphone.
The JPAY application is a user-friendly payment solution for private entrepreneurs and small businesses, which allows them to replace totally a conventional POS-terminal with an ordinary smartphone without any auxiliary equipment.
“Thanks to the Apple Pay and Samsung Pay, smartphones have gradually transformed from communication devices to payment tools. We decided to come full circle and enable businesses to accept payments using smartphones,” Miras Shaykhislamov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Jýsan Bank, said.
The JPAY app accepts any contactless Visa and Mastercard cards, as well as Apple Pay and Samsung Pay payments through smartphones and wearable devices, such as smart watches and bracelets.
The most unpretentious NFC-enabled smartphone running Android (version 6.0 or higher) with an access to the Internet is compatible with the JPAY application. The application’s interface provides an easy and fast way to accept a payment, while its additional features include sending an electronic receipt immediately after the payment is made, downloading the detailed transaction statements, and cancelling the payment, if necessary.
“The JPAY application is ideally useful for delivery services, taxis and couriers, corner shops and sales outlets, including bazaars,” Miras Shaykhislamov says. “No need to purchase any additional equipment. The application will minimize the merchant’s expenses and enable him to do business on the go. Accepting card payments is not only a statutory requirement, but is, in the first instance, a convenient and safe service for our clients.”
The JPAY application substantially enhances the micro and small businesses’ ability to accept cashless payments in a legal way, helps expand the clientele by accepting cards issued by any banks, and what counts most is that it minimizes costs related to processing of clients’ cards.
It is quite easy to start accepting contactless payments. For this, it is required to open an account with Jýsan Bank, sign an agreement at a Bank branch, download the JPAY application from Play Market and install it on your smartphone, and get registered.
