January 22, 2021, Karagandy. The Karagandy Subsidiary of Jýsan Bank signed a cooperation agreement with the Karagandy Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz (KEUK).
According to the agreement, the Banker Scientific Practical Training Complex (SPTC) is to be set up. The academic, methodological, scientific and research activities will be conducted there. The SPTC will boost the quality of the training of specialists studying at the KEUK Banking Management and Financial Markets Chair and their competitiveness in the labor market.
The Banker SPTC is to be created through a sort of integration of education, science and working environment, an interaction between a university and government bodies, enterprises and the business community. Ultimately, practicing professionals from the largest second-tier banks and other financial institutions operating in this sector will be engaged in the training of would be specialists.
The Karagandy Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz has been operating in the educational services market since 1966. It was established according to the resolution of the Council of Ministers of the USSR and the decree of the Board of the Central Union of Consumer Cooperatives of the USSR for the consumer cooperative society staff training purposes. In 1991, the Karaganda Cooperative Institute was renamed as the Kazakh Institute of Consumer Cooperatives of Kazpotrebsoyuz. Following its state certification in 1995 and according to the recommendations given based on its results, in 1997 the Institute was reorganized to the Karagandy Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz (KEUK) pursuant to the resolution of the Kazpotrebsoyuz Board.
