On April 29, 2019 Tsesnabank JSC (the "Bank") announced that its name had been changed. The new name of the Bank is First Heartland Jýsan Bank JSC under retail brand name Jýsan Bank, according to the approved Kazakh Latin alphabet.
"We all know how spicily jýsan smells in spring, that it symbolizes rebirth and renewal of the Great Steppe. In fact, that is the smell of our Homeland, which connects the eras: the past, the present and the future. The name of our Bank in the new Kazakh Latin alphabet is a symbol of the things we value: authenticity and progress," Bekzhan Pirmatov, Chairman of the Bank's Management Board, said.
The decision to initiate the rebranding was made under the new business strategy of the Bank. The outdoor advertising elements will be changed step-by-step. New banking products and other media under the Jýsan Bank brand and logo are to be introduced in 2019. At the same time, the Clients should not be concerned about or make any amendments to documents related to the Bank, or have their cards re-issued or agreements re-signed.
"We have successfully accomplished the transient period, completely normalized the Bank and already launched new lending products with competitive terms. As of April 1, the Bank had become one of the three market leaders as far as the share of their highly liquid assets is concerned, with its assets worth over 680 billion Tenge or 70% of the aggregate assets, as well as had the largest provisions for its credit portfolio. These facts prove our absolute stability," - B. Pirmatov said.
"Changing the name to Jýsan Bank is a positive event both for our team and our clients, as all our new products and services will be promoted in terms of innovations and convenience. We would like everyone to feel safe and at ease at Jýsan Bank, to feel at home," – Chairman of the Management Board of First Heartland Jýsan Bank JSC concluded.
